When I arrived, there was no line, but since it was only our second visit, we weren’t sure what to order immediately. The woman at the counter, who seemed to be the manager or possibly the owner, appeared annoyed by our hesitation. She rudely told us, “There’s a kiosk to order, just go order there.” When I leaned in to review my order on the screen before paying, she dismissively waved me off. The bubble tea was okay, but the overall experience left much to be desired.
Extremely sweet! I ordered the milk tea with 75% sugar, but it tasted as sweet as drinks elsewhere with 150% sugar. I had to dilute it with tea to make it drinkable, which then allowed me to get a second full cup out of it. The milk tea itself was average at best or even below average. I regretted making a 35-minute drive here. When I arrived, the shop was completely empty. I gave an extra star only for the tapioca, which was nice and soft with a good chew.
One of my favorite desserts/snacks of all time — shaved ice with red beans (bingsu) topped with ice cream, mochi and fruit. Perfect summer time dish. There was a concern that this place wasn’t going to able to make it through the pandemic. But they reconfigured their interior and managed to survive. Now they only have takeout service and do not offer any seatings. Happy to see them still in operation.
Cafe Koco Bowl has quickly become my favorite spot for boba! The tapioca pearls are just the right texture—soft, chewy, and always consistent. The flavors are delightful too! Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly and polite. I love coming here with my laptop to get some schoolwork done; studying is so much easier with a bubble tea and a bowl of ramen by my side! Loved my food! Don’t be afraid to try something different, I got a few things off the menu I hadn’t heard of before, and everything was delicious. Very reasonable pricing. The lollipop chicken is the best!
It was awesome that I could have these three foods. Chicken rice bowl, beef bulgoggi bowl, and dbk noodle were so good that I can encourage friends to come and have them.
food is sooo good especially considering the price. and the staff is so friendly ️ lot of delicious drink options, i would recommend the brown sugar tea
Love this little authentic korean place! They have great spicy jajang bowl and spicy jajang noodle! Especially you should try their bingsoo Réservez une table maintenant
This is hands down the best bubble tea smoothie I've ever tasted! The prices are reasonable, and the smoothie was incredibly fresh!
