Kohlmayr"s Gaisbergspitz

This hostelry is situated about half way to the summit of the Gaisberg mountain on the outskirts of Salzburg. It has an extensive outside, south-facing terrace which makes a lovely spot for a summer lunch, with fine views over the Watzmann and the Alps. The food is traditional Austrian, large helpings with copious salads, reasonably priced.

This place is a true hidden Gem but in full sight of Salzburg. Amazing views, great drinks and good food. Highly recommend just sitting outside with a hot chocolate and just watching the world go by. Very peaceful with great views..

Food is great and an unbeatable view.... Almost like heaven on earth... The restaurant serves very good food from the alps and the view is over the alps. Very nice.
