I like the idea that I can have the Sushi Combo and have a choice of items plus Miso and tea. Even in my circle there is a person who complains about the California roll. I'm ok with that. I'll go alone as I...have only a minor complaint and it's not about the food. Like every place you will get staff who are distracted or not interested in being there that day. Your tip size is an awesome way to let them know. They are servers. It is not McDonald's. Check the table occasionally
Went there March party of six at about First of all, the service was very friendly and fast. The food was excellent, matter of fact so good that I overate because it was so delicious. Had one of the bento boxes and it...was excellent. Everyone in our party was very pleased with the food and the service. I would have given it out of but the table was kind of small for everything we ordered and it could have been cleared a bit more but other than that.....EXCELLENT
Came here for lunch, it wasn't busy at all. Ordered the Tonkatsu meal and it came relatively fast. It looked good but after my first bite, it was dry. Felt like it was precooked and then reheated. Maybe it was an off day? I would...most likely not recommend this place. Maybe this is why it's not busy firing lunch time. At checkout, the guy was busy talking to his friend on his airpod and didn't bother to greet me. Not the best service either
Ordered chicken katsuyama and rolls California, Dynamite, BC. The only thing that I remotely enjoyed was the katsu. The rolls were poorly executed, sloppy rice, blah flavour and excessive salmon skin on the BC roll. Couldnt eat the BC roll. The katsu was...okay. Not enough to redeem the sushi rolls. Overall the food seemed as though quality of ingredients was generic as in No Frills rather than Whole Foods. I must say service was very good
