Kokai Sushi Lounge

As a sushi lover worldwide tastings the sushi in this hidden gem was spectacular. Super fresh flavorful. The soup was excellent. The stars are 2 because waiter at first took a longer than reasonable time to assist, was nowhere around after the sushi was brought, drinks were finished no one would look. Finally when waiter came out the chef saw me waiving i could not finish my roll because we had drank all the drink water. It was late place was not that full, wish i could have enjoyed such awesome sushi. I told the waiter kindly and he offered a free coke, but by then we just wanted to take the rest home.

It's worth mentioning that we've enjoyed Kokai Sushi in the past; the food was typically fresh and delicious. We usually order through either DoorDash or UberEATS, but this time we had to use Sauce delivery, which unfortunately proved unhelpful when our order was unacceptable. I can't fathom that Uber or DoorDash would refuse to assist in a situation like this, which raises questions about why the restaurant has chosen to partner with Sauce. It almost seems like they’re avoiding accountability for poor food quality and service.

We stopped in before heading to Ikea and it was a great decision! We didn?t know what we were in the mood for but saw this on google and tried it out. The decor was so cute! I love the greenery, makes the restaurant feel homie. The food was very fresh! We started with SAKE OR TUNA TARTAR Salmon or tuna, avocado, scallions in ponzu sauce ADEREZO DE ATUN Seared thin slices of tuna with pepper in our house sauce The flavors were delicious and not fishy! That?s a big deal for me. I?d definitely visit again ?

I give this restaurant three stars because the service was good, but the wasabi tasted like old toothpaste. My sashimi had thick, uneven cuts, and the white fish was ice-cold and watery. I won't be returning. However, my wife really enjoyed her boiled concoction sushi, which is another reason for the three stars—it definitely wouldn’t have been a two-star experience. I usually agree with other five-star reviews, but this visit didn’t meet my expectations. Réservez une table maintenant

Delicious food, fresh, great service, great selection. Perfect atmosphere! Spectacular selection of food each time we visit! UPDATE: Came back almost a year and a half later. Food good but very poor service. Ordered a glass of wine and then the food arrived and then nobody came again. We flagged our waiter down to bring the check. Friday night, wanted to relax with a few glasses of wine, but not tonight!

Everything was quite enjoyable. The Mix Yaki was a bit dry for our liking, but it had great flavor. The Vulcano Roll and gyozas were absolutely delicious! And the desserts—fried ice cream and almond pie—were simply PERFECT! We will definitely be ordering again.

I'm not sure if they've changed owners or chefs, but the quality has really declined. The portion sizes are incredibly small, and they don’t even provide the ingredients I requested. It's disappointing because I used to be a regular customer.
