Great drinks and chocolate! Staff are usually friendly but the service is very inconsistent. On one occasion I waited 45 minutes for a simple long black takeaway coffee... after waiting for 20 minutes I reminded the waitress and she was very apologetic, but the coffee did not arrive even after this, so I asked her again and she was again very apologetic, waited some more and still no coffee..., so I asked her AGAIN and finally received my coffee, and what I paid was refunded. Another time very recently, my friend and I had just finished our drinks and were enjoying sitting down and continuing our conversation. Terrible customer service. Dropped in for coffee after shopping. Rude staff member Ashana or however she spells it working on till. Took my order with a clipped “yep” “nup” yep” No smile, no eye contact, no attempt at customer service: just attitude. Acted as if we were an inconvenience. It wasn’t just me either. my friends noticed the salty service and commented as well. So no, defo won’t be back. We’re locals with money to spend. We’ll be spending it elsewhere .
if I'm in the mood for a little chocolate pampering, I can't go past koko black. in the love to the classic Belgian ice creamy chocolate creamy, chocolate and absolutely delicious. so many chocolates and chocolate-based desserts to try I had not really a bad thing here so far (except for the crumbs that are boring). prepare for a delicious diabetic coma.
