We spent a day on our holiday at the Piston saddle, and during our visit we ate something in the Piston saddle hut. It was the one with the most bad food of our vacation. I had a carving with pommes. The panade wasn't crispy, it was just labsy and greasy. The pommes have tasted like fried in old fat. That was also the reason why my daughter didn't eat her portion of Pommes. My wife had spinach dumplings. Nothing was freshly prepared. Tastefully these were also far from tasty. The food didn't come together. We were here for the 2nd time at the Piston saddle hut and more than enthusiastic. The cheese parrots and, above all, the hunter's roast were excellent and for almost 11-12€ each and this large portion was a very fair price. The staff was also friendly, fast and attentive and the location itself is also very nice. 100% recommended.Free toilets are available behind the house. Card payment also possible.
Pure mass production. It's okay from eating but it's just getting fed up.No alternative therefore had to go there. A little calm and less involuntary family connection would also be nice. Very beautiful Alm with super view, beautiful playground and Bavarian live music. But what does the most beautiful location use when you are treated unfriendly and do not feel welcome.Essen (Kaiserschmarren) very plentiful but tastefully only medium size.
