We shared the mixed tempura, small sushi and small sashimi plates between 2 and were impressed with the quality and taste of everything. Everything was freshly prepared by the chef who you watch from your table. The sashimi and sushi was probably the best we have ever tried. The restaurant interior is relaxing and comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. With a pot of hot green tea and complimentary bottle of water the bill was $61 which is very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back.
This is one of the better Japanese restaurants of Sydney. A family run business with a samurai history. Wonderful and attentive service and genuine Japanese cuisine and a chef that loves what he does. There's parking available but on busy nights look to the side streets. The teriyaki vegetables dish is amazing and the same accompaniment is a perfect companion. It is small so it cannot seat too many so best to book ahead. A great addition to the food street that is majors bay road of Canada Bay in Sydney.
The Japanese cuisine at this restaurant is incredible. The tempura and chicken karaage were superb, and we were pleasantly surprised by the udon soup and sweet aromen. The food is of high quality, served in large portions, and at affordable prices. Despite living on the other side of the city, we would definitely return to dine here again.
I have dined at this restaurant at least 25 times and the food quality is consistently excellent - fresh, carefully presented, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the teriyaki seafood bento box for those who are hungry and looking for a diverse option. However, I also enjoy most of the other menu items.

we've been here for many years. the sushimi is always fresh and the service is just as good. also the gyoza, the huh teriyaki and the tempura are very good. it is byo and licensed. book them mostly on fri or sat or they could. be disappointed.
I have been several times. All the dishes I've had have been delicious and generous. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant itself has a nice and cost atmosphere. Highly recommended. Best Japanese food in the area by far.
Great little authentic Japanese restaurant with a sushi chef. Food is fresh and prices are reasonable. It's byo, gyozas, eggplant and sashimi are great. Frequented by Japanese. Open all day. Love it!
This Japanese restaurant has been consistently serving excellent Japanese dishes for years. I have visited many times and have never been disappointed. The Bento boxes are especially beautiful.
