I’ll preface this review with saying that if you’re wanting vegan pizza, Kona Brewing Co is not the place to go (try Bianelli’s, Herbivore’s, or Get Sum instead). Kona Brewing Co doesn’t currently have vegan cheese, and while their pizzas are great even without cheese, they’re not cheap. When I want that Kona Brewing Co pizza experience, I just buy their pizza dough from the Growler Shack outside the restaurant and bake it at home with my own toppings. I went into this meal knowing that they didn’t have vegan cheese, and not intending to order pizza. I got the Garden Veggie sandwich without the chipotle yogurt dressing and loved it! You can build your own delicious vegan pizza with a multitude of toppings. They also have a vegan macadamia nut pesto sauce YUM! The garden salad was big enough to share and was very fresh. I stopped by for an early dinner around 5 PM and was seated within 10 minutes. The service was excellent and prompt. The beer menu offered a wide variety, and the non-alcoholic Ginger Lemonade was absolutely delicious. While the food menu is somewhat limited, featuring mainly pizzas, appetizers, and a few entrees, we decided to order several pizzas and appetizers. Everything was fresh and tasty. The Roasted Garlic Appetizer was outstanding; I would definitely order that every time. The seating area was inviting and lovely. If you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I give this restaurant five stars for its service and the tour, which was not only enjoyable but also highly informative, with generous tastings included. They even provide transportation to the brewery, even though it's just a five-minute walk from the restaurant. We decided to stay for dinner and drinks afterward and were seated right away, enjoying excellent service. Overall, I would rate the beer four stars—it's good quality, but I personally found the offerings from Maui to be more interesting and flavorful compared to Kona.
The restaurant features pleasant shaded seating in an open-air setting. Our friendly and attentive server first offered us a couple of beers. I tried the dark coconut beer, which was a fun novelty, followed by the excellent Kua Bay IPA. For dinner, we ordered the loaded Naahehu nachos and a small Captain pizza. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying.
We had beers and ordered edamame and chips and guacamole. But we were served a Mediterranean type platter with hummus, vegetables (and feta cheese). Not sure if the mistake was ours or the server’s (but it was good, nonetheless). Wish there was more than just appetizers because were big fans of the beer!
The staff was fantastic! The food was tasty, and I really enjoyed the beer. I tried the Gold Cliff IPA and the Kau Bay IPA, both of which were delicious! The indoor and outdoor spaces are great. However, parking can be a bit tricky since it tends to get busy.

Love the jungle atmosphere of Kona Brewing Company. Several vegetarian options and staff very willing to make adjustments to items to make vegetarian. Delicious pizzas and salads and nice to have a cider option.
