We visited Steinfurt a few years ago on the way to or from Münster, so we knew about 'Konditorei' Probst. To cut a long story short when we saw the sign 'Steinfurt' on the road signs, the good coffee and delicious cakes... from Probst were beckoning, so we drove into Steinfurt and entered the Konditorei Probst. Nothing had changed since our previous visit a few years ago and we were not disappointed with the coffee and cake. Friendly service and reasonable prices were thrown in. A deserved four-point rating.
Café Konditorei Probst offers coffee and delicious freshly prepared German cakes and pastries served by friendly staff. But while we enjoyed our coffee and cake, it was close to lunchtime. Probst also offers a lunch menu, with a value for money daily dish. This attracts... old people from Steinfurt who turn probst to a meeting point in the lunchtime. Probst has in fact a social function in Steinfurt. And also delicious cakes. But I already wrote that.

Because of the human need in connection with double zero, I decided to take the afternoon coffee a bit earlier than usual. Then my brother and I strengthened the city on our tour. The cake was really delicious and the service was very friendly. You should stay there!
A classic café at the entrance of the pedestrian area of Steinfurt. Here you will get a usual selection of coffee and cakes. You can sit in good weather. I didn't try to find out if you only get small boxes here....
Totally unexpected we stumbled in this bakery café. What a revelation! Very friendly and fast service in first quality food and the result added= a very good and fairly cheap lunch. This place is worth it again!
Very nice family business. They are always served friendly and competent. From breakfast to lunch table to cake you get everything here.
