I was the first visitor late on a Saturday morning a little after opening time for this place. The location was convenient to a movie theater and seemed different than recognizable chain eateries nearby (e.g., McDonalds, Chipotle, Peets Coffee, First Watch). Reviews looked positive online, so I decided to try their chicken and a couple of sides before my movie. The person taking my order was engaged and friendly. The place looked predictably clean for being a first customer of the day. Food was ready within ten minutes and arrived warm to hot as expected and desired. The chicken itself was cooked well and retained a little juiciness. I chose the Latin flavor option of the three available, and I found the flavor mild and similar to Peri-Peri in this respect. The black beans were hot and cooked properly, not over cooked. The cauliflower and eggplant veggies were freshly fried as expected again for a first customer. The seasoning for the cauliflower was very mild. I could have used a little salt on the eggplant which otherwise tasted quite fresh and kept its moisture. Sauces added some spice, particularly the orange sauce I enjoyed. The person serving me indicated that they try to prepare and fry food to order without heating lamps and the like. My food showed this promise well. The total bill amounted to just over $20 including tax, so I felt like I got a good value for my purchase and enjoyed talking with the server for a few minutes after I was done. I could be tempted to return and try their chicken sandwich and maybe one of the other flavors as well as see whether they fry potatoes as freshly as they do their vegetables. I was glad to visit.
