Kookaba - Réservation de table

Booked a table for half 7, after a few minutes it became clear they didn't have a table for us. After a little while they managed to squeeze us into a corner table where they promptly forgot about us. Waited for half an hour without even being brought a menu, genuinely felt like the staff were going out of their way to ignore us. They did take a drink order, which was wrong anyway. After half an hour we got up and went, the manager saw I leave and didn't even acknowledge us, probably relieved as they are clearly not equipped to deal with the amount of tables they have. Went to Periwinkle Bistro just round the corner where the staff were attentive, friendly, and the service was quick.

I had always heard that Kookaba was a fantastic restaurant to visit. The service was excellent, but the food did not live up to the hype for me. They offer generous portions for the price, but the overall quality of the cooking was average. I tried the Mixed Grill and it was decent, but both the gammon and steak were burnt on one side. My friend also experienced the same issue with their burger. It seemed that all of the items were conveniently served with the burnt side facing down.

love, love this place, recommend it to all who tell us that they visit saundersfoot everything is fantastic, every eating is always on place! even my 7-year-old sohn tells everyone that he cannot wait until the caravan gets up again so that we can eat lol in the kookabara (as he calls). we are seeing you

great! eating is delicious, steak cooked place, the young really enjoyed their turn on their menu slappy and surf! They loved their tenby-ales. the personal was wonderful what a beautiful evening we had with them, thank you! Réservez une table maintenant

great meal. really nice eating and huge portions, but not overpriced. beautiful children's menu. quickly and tasty served. really recommend, but book early as they are really busy.

Went here last night, 4 of us. Food was excellent. The prawns in seaweed starter was absolutely delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection Well done all. We will be back soon

Always a great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Can't recommend it enough and make sure you have some Onion Rings...the best I ve had anywhere!
