Koserower Salzhutte

We have eaten here twice, and both occasions have had outstanding meals. The first time we visited we managed to book a table in the hut, which had the atmosphere you'd expect of an old fishing hut, decorated accordingly. The second time we visited we sat in the large outdoor eating area, overlooking the smoke house. The service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. It goes without saying, the smoked fish, in all its guises and the fish soup thats served in a large hollowed out bread roll are a must.

During the first visit we were able to book a table in the hut, which had the atmosphere expected from an old fishing hut, which was decorated accordingly. During the second visit we sat in the large outdoor dining area, overlooking the smokehouse. The service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. It goes without saying that the smoked fish, in all its guises and the fish soup served in a large hollowed bread roll, are a must.

You just sit in a small village surrounded by a forest next to the sea and enjoy fresh fish and some special drinks like "Matjesschluck" after the meal.Fish soup is served in a bread and the "Bratheringe grün" (crispy fried)...and four of them!!! - are just fantastic.Mondays closed!

A very traditional fish restaurant, romantic setting, many paintings on the walls, great atmosphere, and smoked fish specialities of the region; there is a fish smoke house; many other choice as fish soup, fresh fish etc. nice terrace and friendly service.
