I ordered the dynamite maki, one of my favorites. I find that every sushi place has its own take on dynamite maki, and I don't mind—they're all delicious in their own way! However, I have to take away one star because I nearly choked on a tempura tail. I completely admit it was my fault; I didn’t realize that the tempura had two ends. One end had the tail exposed, which was easy to see and bite off, but when I bit into my roll (the top fat left roll in my photo), it was either deep-fried or just heavily coated in the ahi, making it hard to notice the other end until it was too late. Just a straightforward sushi spot with amazing food. Selection is plentiful and they 're constantly adding to their menu. Whenever I 'm wanting sushi with no frills or fuss, we go to Kozo. Whatever you order, you know it 's going to be good. Wait is tolerable, usually 15 minutes depending on the size of your order and complexity of the toppings. No dine-in, just take out. Easy to find, they 're located in the Pearl City Shops , the merchants right next to the Sam 's Club gas pumps and across the way from Walmart. Check them out if you want a no-nonsense sushi restaurant that 's sure to satisfy.

Don't order the chicken katsu plate, you'll get just 2 pieces. And the pieces were overcooked. I ordered the chicken katsu and spicy ahi. Also make sure you ask for your sauces, I didn't get any. Réservez une table maintenant

The service is slow, and they don't answer the phone. When I finally received my order, they forgot one item. I even placed my order online, and still had to wait an additional 30 minutes.

Enjoyed the oishii Lunch Box combo and Dragon Makizushi. Generous portions and reasonable prices, friendly, professional staff. Highly recommend !

The lunch box was fantastic, but the salmon seemed to be off. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling sick afterward.
