i took my mother in law with my family and my father in law out for her birthday dinner with my wife to join us later so the pressure was on. One must always impress the mother in law as all married me will agree to. Krabe Thai was local and had a great reputation so the booking was made with ease and off we went. This place felt like it was run by inexperienced backpackers.They were all very pleasant , but being pleasant doesn't take away the fact of how bad the experience for the diner is. The good: beef stir fry- not too oily, meat tender and plenty of vegetables and the location.The not so good: Cigarette smell on staff-they are handling the food for goodness sake, the over saltiness of the pad Thai, the outdated decor, the tasteless spring rolls- could definitely tell they had been frozen.The other thing they do is banquets for a minimum of 2 people, so if you want to try a variety amount of food you can.
We have been dining here for the last 7 years tonight we ordered the banquet easy no! No desert or tea coffee was served....... When the rice was served the lid fell off and broke a wine glass we sat there no one come to help so we cleaned up and took the broken glass to the counter on leaving they attempted to charge us $4 for the broken glass still no desert or coffee bad service 7 years of dining we will not be back very disappointing after 7 years!was one of our fav thai on keilor rd
We had an enjoyable Thai dinner with friends at Krabi Thai Restaurant. We had to make a booking, and table was ready when we arrived and byo wine. Good service, water on table replaced and didn't notice as staff very polite. Enjoyed sharing four different dishes and a garlic naan each, nothing left as all so good, recommend the duck:O) cheers and thanks to the lovely staff for a fun evening even when it was a full house.

First time I ordered takeaway the food was average. Thought we’d give it another try tonight. Wish we hadn’t. Not sure how it’s possible but the mince chicken salad was dry, although the flavours were ok. The stir fry chicken and noodle dish with vegetables was all noodles and the only vegetable in the dish was carrot. Bland. Fish cakes were average. Any suggestions for good Thai in the area?
Small and friendly Thai restaurant slightly down the road from main eating precinct of Keilor Rd. Very friendly staff and food that is absolutely delicious. Go the set menus. Nice to try something different.
Been here many times over the years and they never fail to put on a great feed. Probably was better in the early days but still very good. The Penaeng Chicken is always a winner!
Have been coming here for over 10 years. The food is always great. Prob my fave Thai to date. The curries are very tasty and I will continue to come to dine in or takeaway.

A variety of dishes that were all pretty standard for a Thai menu. Jasmine rice was awful. Not steamed properly & tasteless
