I don't have to go again. We were two on a motorcycle tour and at noon looking for a little food. Many times past the cross. Now it's finally stopped there, as it looks quite inviting. In the simple and sober furnished guest room we were received by a very nice young service. The restaurant was as good as not visited, which should have made me stubborn at this time on a sunny Sunday in this excursion. The boss was also present, but don't pay any attention. She jumped in front of herself with an iron gaze and seemed awesome. My life mate then ordered a salad plate and I decided to use mushrooms and a mixed salad. However, I demanded a simple leaf salad against the map instead of a mixed salad...

On the contrary to the reviews that have been written here some time ago, I have to report only positively about the Gasthaus Kreuz on the Streitberg and its owners. However, one thing is to be said beforehand to these evaluations. The boss has your own kind like any person, neither is it you from here and the further we go to the north as more closed the people are too early and not all as open as we Badener. In the case of deepest Badish dialect it is also true if the order at the table is not fully understood. The demand is completely correct. So again, unfriendly is really different. Even with the boss and at the same time alone cook, it is very pleasant to talk... if it leaves the time....

I have never experienced such a cold and tense atmosphere in a guest room. This was caused by the proper dismissing and unfriendly way of operation, perhaps this was even the boss. We were constantly watching her and the other guests seemed uncomfortable. There was an almost spooky silence in the guest room, although every table was occupied. It seemed to us to be forbidden to speak at all. In any case, a cemetery is more fun. The bright and friendly furnishings, as well as the mediocre food, could not be welcomed by the feeling of not deceived.
