Krispy Krunchy Chicken

First timer at a KKC [Cocoa FL] I didn't think much of the name until lately I saw some local Yelpers rave about the chicken at Krispy Krunchy. Then I remembered dining at a KKC for the first time last year in FL. We happened to stumble upon this fast food counter-service restaurant while looking for a place to grab some quick late lunch. We were hangry! LoL! I remember how much I enjoyed my 3-pc fried chicken which included a honey butter biscuit with the meal. I finally got to try this place out. The food is good. The service started out meh, but ended up being ok. The building is run down I hesitated to order, but I really wanted to see if the chicken redeemed the place. I wanted to try so many things, but the portions are HUGE. I wanted dark chicken with a side of liver and gizzards, but the liver and gizzards are separate orders. I didn't want an order of each, so I just chose liver. I couldn't use them as a side for my 2-piece meal, so I had to order it separately. The sign says my 2-piece comes with a side and biscuit but the server said it did not come with one. The establishment is in a decent location. The owner and staff were very pleasant to do business with the food was good but their peach cobbler and biscuits topped with their own honey butter are worth the trip. I placed, what I'd consider a rather large order with them the day before I needed it and they had it prepared and ready just as they promised. Everything was hot and was smelling up the place, that's a good thing, when I got it to the place it was going to be consumed. Not much was said about the food, just a lot of empty plates, and that says bunches.

This place is great! It is not in a gas station like some of the other Krispy locations. This is a standalone. Tony took our order and this man is pure Louisiana. He knows his chicken! I had the 3 piece Krunch box with mash potatoes. I loved every bit if it. He even gave us a sample prior to ordering since this was our first time. The only negative is their Mac n cheese. It seems like it is made with our of a sour cream base and unless you are ready for it, it will be an unexpected taste. Réservez une table maintenant

The chicken was fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned but more important for me was the service, the lady was so kind and extra which makes feel good. I saw lot of people taking orders to go hike I was there enjoying my food Thanks

In short, my meal tonight was really satisfying! They always serve it with cornbread and it's finger-licking good. They season their greens perfectly. Definitely worth a visit to try their food.

Delicious and fresh every time!! The chicken is a bit spicy for me, but my family loves it. The biscuits are always warm and delicious! And you must try the fried gizzards!!!

It was better than Popeyes Chicken, and fresher. They e en had Dirty Rice and better fries
