opposite the late baroque basilikum in gößweinstein, built by balthasar neumann 1730 – 1739, is the beautiful hotel café restaurant krone with a very inviting sun terrace, from which they have a magnificent view of the road and the large and imposing wall travel church to the most sacred three times. the special on this caffeine are its tortes in xxl format. they all have made a cut of 50 cm by the chefin woman dominika cendel itself. after a talk and the permission of chefin I was allowed to make these photos. the torts look great and taste not only delicious, but also in the price not to despise, only so that the coffee is really very good. every year comes an equally big new leaf cake acc...
the restaurant café krone is beautifully located in the middle of gößweinstein, directly opposite the well-known wallfahrtsbasilika. in the warm summer months you can enjoy your afternoon coffee on the terrace and have a great view! the whole house is very stylish and tastefully decorated and has a special ambiente. the owner and the service are very nice and friendly and there is a great selection of tasty homemade cakes and torts, just a dream! if they come to the Franconian Swiss to gößweinstein, whether as a walker or hospitable, they just have to stay here for a two hour time, they really feel comfortable. highly recommended, especially in the warm months on the large terrace!
on the occasion of our trip to this magnificent Upper Franconian pilgrimage site with a smaller group we could eat there and enjoy the magnificent view of the walking basilika from the terrace. more we enjoyed the lunch and the good Franconian beer, it tasted very good for all, the foods were served warm and for the conclusion that we still have to seduce ourselves with delicious homemade cakes and torts. the prices are really obese, the service was very attentive, flash and good.
We stayed at the restaurant after a wonderful hike for dinner and very satisfied! Especially the beer was very good and the drunk also! The liver dumping soup was made and excellent! Great for little money! Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel Highlights: Great Value

a good restaurant, polite staff and excellent franconian specialities at reasonable price. in summer they open a nice terrasse facing the basilica. a good option to eat while in gossweinstein. efficient and polite staff.

A beautiful restaurant/café. The cakes are displayed during the day and a fresh and homemade. Delicious. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. Great prices for cake and coffee.
I eat here 2 times a year during the show in Nuremberg. Food us good staff is friendly lots of classic German kic. But always friendly staff, great local beer and a free Wi-Fi.
