I was introduced to this restaurant by some Uyghur students I met in Kitchener and after reading all the great reviews and seeing the mouth-watering photos of the food, my wife and I were eager to try it out. We started our meal with the lamb manta, which were some of the best dumplings I have ever tasted. The juicy dumplings had a moist wrapper and perfectly steamed ground lamb filling that was succulent and satisfying. The dish was served with chili oil, adding a nice acidity to the rich lamb flavor. For our main course, we ordered the Quruq Qorima stir-fried fresh pulled noodles with beef. The noodles were coated in chili oil and topped with hot peppers, but the spice level was adjusted to our liking when we asked. We recently ordered takeout from this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food did not match the positive reviews we had seen. It was quite disappointing. My wife suspected that one of the dishes contained MSG, to which she is sensitive, and there was also no sauce included with the order. The food was average and a bit expensive. Overall, we found it to be bland and nothing special. We were hoping for a satisfying meal but instead, it was just okay.
