I have to admit that I have not personally been here, but my wife and son LOVE it!! They have been here to get some of the great food they offer, and any time we are in the area they want to stop by and get something. I will have to try it one of these days soon because they love it so much. I still give it 3 Borks (that 's a good thing) because I am 50% Swedish...and any chance to use the Swedish Chef in a review is a win in my book.
I visit this restaurant exclusively for the Krown bakery. I would travel any distance just to enjoy it. The pastries are beautifully crafted, wonderfully presented, and the flavors are satisfying beyond compare. Everything here is incredibly delicious! I'm truly obsessed and eagerly anticipate each visit. I can't recommend this place enough! They also bake bread and offer fantastic sandwiches. Plus, the staff are extremely friendly!
Passing through on a family trip and decided to try something different. So glad we did! We basically got one of everything and all had a bite of everything. The orange was everyone's favorite, but everything was delicious. The dough they use has such a great texture--light but with substance. We only regret not getting some of their cookies and fresh bread.
I don't usually write reviews, but I have to say that the pastries here are the best I've ever tasted. They strike the perfect balance—complex yet simple, and not overly sweet. Plus, both pastries I tried were still slightly warm. So fresh! It’s no wonder Krown has received so many reviews and holds a 4.9 rating. You should definitely check it out! So I've lived in the Anoka/Ramsey area for years and I never thought this place had anything but breads and stuff. I'm so annoyed with myself! Went in for the first time today and had paninis and lavender cookies. It was delicious! The place was cute and clean and the staff friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back to try other goodies!
By far one of the best bakeries in the Twin Cities with some truly unique offerings. It’s not just the same old donuts and muffins. The only negative is that their hours make it almost impossible for working people to drop in. If they opened at 8 I would get trays to bring to work during the week.
I've visited this place a few times, and everything is absolutely delicious. Their Limpa (Swedish rye bread) is fantastic, and the cardamom bread is exceptional. With a variety of pastries, cookies, and other treats, it becomes quite challenging to choose what to order!
