I really wanted to like this bistro since it is conveniently located and has lovely vibe. Unfortunately, the service and the food were not great. It took almost 30 minutes for someone to come back to my table after being seated. The guests seated after me received prompt service and even had their food boxed for them. I ordered the goat cheese toast, breakfast potatoes, and a macchiato. The toast was underwhelming. There was too much sesame and not enough jam to balance out the goat cheese. The potatoes were under seasoned and a bit mushy. The macchiato was great! It is a really cute space, but I wouldn’t recommend dining at Kruse.
A great wine/ beer bistro with new taps and wines available all the time. I had a couple different Hazy IPAs there that were just fantastic! The food is amazing as well, the grazing board is to die for. I especially loved the goat cheese! If you’re into coffee the selection is great, not my cup of tea but that’s my loss and doesn’t have to be yours. You can also grab something from the markit if you’re in a rush or want to build your own board at home. Saturday nights they also have live music that fills the space nicely!
Food: The cheese board was great a fantastic selection of cheeses. For my entree I had the pasta, and it was tasty but nothing earth shattering. They had a great wine list! Service: Our server was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere: I wish I had a place like this in my neighborhood. Seemed like a great place to chill for a while, or have a meal, or buy a gift for a foodie.
Absolutely in love with the amazing food and comfortable atmosphere here! I love coming on Saturday evenings for the music, a morning coffee date, or picking up a quick gift or snack in the market while I’m there. The Boards are a must-try and also love the sandwiches, flatbreads and salads too! Réservez une table maintenant
