Kruse's Deer Lake Inn

Love this place! We have dinner here at least once a week. Great lunch items and dinner items. They will switch up the menu with specials every month or two. Great service and great food. Pictured below is the Shrimp with Fried Green Tomatoes and the shimp with cheddar biscuits. Desserts are fabulous too. We like the chocolate mousse or the giant cream puff with ice cream and hot fudge. Highly recommend!

We had lunch here after our Mother’s funeral at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Willow was our server and she was absolutely wonderful! She made a very sad day brighter. The food was hot and delicious! The gazpacho was fresh and one of the best I’ve ever had! Everyone in our party enjoyed every dish. Thank you for an excellent meal and thank you Willow for taking such great care of us!

Bought two $100.00 dining gift cards on line for friends. Was awarded two $20.00 coupons. Tried to redeem one today. “Sorry expired in March”. . No explanation by waitress. Cold, and not consumer friendly to someone who spent $200.00 trusting the restaurant with this advance amount. Not gracious.

Food was wonderful, as usual. But the music was way too loud for conversation in the bar area, and still too loud in the back room. Also the restroom lighting is terrible so dark in there, and why?! They need to make some adjustments here. Réservez une table maintenant

In same fashion as Kruise Muir, the food does disappoint. Portions are small for the price, but it's quality over quantity. Just like Kruise Muir, they have the Casino Calamari and Charlie's Chowder. Two of my favs.

Used to be an expensive classy place. They kept the class and delicious food but haven't seemed to increase prices with the times. I'll definitely be back more often
