Kruse's Deer Lake Inn

Had our Anniversary dinner here after driving past many times wanting to try it out. Seated at windows in front bar area. VERY LOUD/busy between 6:30 7 on a Friday. Quieted down after that. Very friendly, knowledgeable server gave great food recommendations. Tasty calamari. Seafood Panroast was AMAZING if you like salty/savory. Blackened salmon with siesta key sauce was equally amazing. Michigan berry salad was a pleasant summer side. Was not happy with my house Pinot Noir, but they happily replaced it. Chocolate mousse topped it all off delicious! Small outdoor patio option with several tables exists out back.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place! Loved the menu selections. They had a great variety of seasonal dishes and cocktails! We had the pleasure of being served by Mike the bartender who has a great sense of humor. Very enjoyable evening. I highly recommend the Deer Lake Inn!

I was very disappointed to find that both loaves of bread were burnt. The bottoms were completely black! They should not have sent this out on DoorDash, as they would not have served it to me if I was dining inside the restaurant.

The 1/3 Pound Ramp Room Burger was charred and overdone. The Fish and Chips plate had a small serving size considering the cost, and there was no tartar sauce provided. Réservez une table maintenant

The fish was super fishy by taste and smell. The Panroasted Chicken was like a bunch of ingredients strewn about in a bowl of blandness.

the lake is a popular dinner or a nice lunch. I really enjoy the ramp room burger and 306 chopped salad, but they can't go wrong. Réservez une table maintenant

The Lobster Shrimp Fettuccine is delicious! Recommend bread and garlic dip too.
