This restaurant serves mixed Korean-Japanese cuisine. Conveniently located near Manhattan, not too deep in NJ. Service was great, we had problems with their metal popsticks that were very heavy and pointed at the ends (good challenged to use these copsticks to eat slimy taco washabi) and they gave us exhaust capsticks to use. Hawaiian role was super packed with ingredients. Chirashi was beautiful and fresh, rice in the bowl was seasoned quite well. Beef Tan Nabe didn't look like the picture on the menu, but was tasty independent. After seeing some of the reviews about the slow and unsatisfactory service from others, we expected the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 6:00 on a Sunday and the service was excellent. My family sat at a private stand behind the curtain with the server blocks, but throughout the entire stay (about 2 hours in the restaurant) the service was consistent, extremely snappy and very accommodating. The food was delicious. From the Izakaya menu to the fresh sushi everything was appetizing! Will definitely come back for more.
We were attractive from Japanese style decoration outside. In the side the room was very beautiful. Much stand for small group! Recommend the premium Sushi moriawase. $40 for 12 pieces, a lot. Chirashi has only $28 and there are 10 pieces. Corn cheese with chicken caraage was very cheerful and tasteful as well! We definitely come back to try more items!
No nonsense restaurant. The menu is quite large but not confusing. The staff were attentive. The ambiance was great. I ordered the yakitori set for about 30 dollars and it was very good. I also ordered the udon which I find great and flavorful. I'll be coming back for sure
