We visited this cafe in the early afternoon on a Thursday in early January. It was easy to find an empty table but it became more crowded soon. We were a couple with a kid and later a friend joined us. We had a Sachertorte,...a Rhubarb Cream thing and a cake with strawberry topping which were all very delicious and wonderfully accompanied the good coffee and warm chocolate but we envied our friend with the cherry cake ... and all the wonderful food that we observed to be handed out to other guests. It was very hard to choose between all this wonderful alternatives of cakes, tarts, classical and non classical, butter cream or whipped cream... Service was very friendly and attentive yet, when...
my group went twice into this beautiful little load. the first time we got a nought ring (actually good and an alcoholic chocolate cake (fairly delicious.) we were happy with our somewhat random decisions (we don't speak German and the participant spoke little English.) so. the next day we returned and got a pink frosty cake with chocolate strawberries on the top ( tamed and a strawberry cream cake (yum yum.) both paints seemed to the participant to serve us a little unpleasant and tried to hurry. but she let me break a 50€ bill on a 7€ buy (both time! , so I have it in vain :p if we stayed longer in feet, I would have gone back!
With an amazing selection of cakes, desserts, candies and ice cream, Kurcafe lives up to its reputation as the source of the best cakes in Fussen! Everything is picture perfect and delicious. The only difficulty is choosing since there are so many amazing options. Seating...is available outside or in the hotel restaurant or for take away. They are famous for their Sissi-Torte which was a favorite of King Ludwig’s companion.
on this cold day we are fast to warm up here in the caffe. traditional and cozy furnishings, attentive the operation, large the selection of cakes. apfelstrudel, cappuccinos and aperol come fast, everything tastes very good, and is very exact. for our feeling it could have been a bit more. the price is quite proud, but in this tourist castle probably normal.

We were given four chocolates in our room as a welcome gift from the hotel which is attached to the pastry shop and they were delicious and so went and bought some! The next day we bought two slices of cake and they were both...outstanding. It’s a great shame that the food in the hotel is not of the same standard!
Recommend by a colleague who visit fussem last year. Have tried the classic black forest Cake, Cave Cake, Sachet Cake, Double Chocolate Cake, Cave Cake again; . Coffees and mint tea are great. The gentleman in the cafe is very helpful and attentive while the cake...lady is rude and impatient. Highly recommend!
Both of us have soups with bread rolls for lunch. Their goulash and dumpling soups were really tasty. The cafe is more a cake shop but they made light lunches as well. One can't go without apple strudel!
This is a MUST to eat great truffles!!! Every kind was tasty and top quality. I could eat them daily. Service is nice, friendly, and quick. Coffe tastes good too : Only the cake was a bit dry...

we took to the coffee cake. the selection is very large and the individual torten very tasty ... as it is otherwise there ... no warning
