I'm not a fan...food is decent but super duper overpriced...salty...mom got Ruben..I got shepherds pie....Decent portion for the Ruben..mom could only finish half. Fries were good..nice and crispy. The food I ordered was delicious and I even had leftovers to take back to my room, put in the refrigerator, and enjoy the next morning as my first meal of the day. The SERVICE was very nice. Great food, very nice service and a lovely, creative, pub atmosphere which I'd say was an upscale-type pub, because I LOVED THE CAREFULLY THOUGHT-OUT DETAILS. During a short trip to Atlantic City this weekend, I visited Gordon Ramsay's Pub Grill for a quick lunch before hitting the casino. This is one of the two Gordon Ramsay's restaurants located at Caesar's Palace. I'm a huge Kitchen Nightmares fan, so I was excited to eat here (although they didn't take too kindly to me asking to inspect their fridge to see if they were serving fresh or frozen food! Tonight we are at Gordon Ramsay Pub located in Caesar's Atlantic City. It is pricey for what you get, but that is par for the course when you eat at a celebrity restaurant in a casino. On prior visits, the food was good, so we went again. I don't know if it was just an off night, but both the food and service left a lot to be desired. My fish and chips were tasty but the portions were small, this fish could still be swimming around, and not worth half of the $35 charge. My companion had a Reuben. We went for a quick brunch on Valentine's Day after a couples massage; seem we weren't wanted the staff took a while to seat us, then a while to grab a menu or take an order. Very kind and polite and the food was brought out quickly the potatoes were somewhat dry . The bathroom is a bit of walk . I'm Sure during dinner it's better but were weren't impressed.
