Je n'étais pas venu ici depuis plus de 5-6 ans, alors j'ai décidé d'y aller car j'avais envie des pâtes à la sauce viande. C'est toujours aussi délicieux! Une chose que je n'ai pas appréciée était le service. On a l'impression d'être pressé de commander. Notez bien que nous sommes arrivés vers 15h donc ce n'était pas trop occupé. Leur système n'a pas de sens. Quelqu'un prend votre commande et ensuite, je suppose que vous attendez d'être appelé ou quelque chose d'autre... Pas sûr, mais l'un des employés derrière le comptoir a dit... Frère... attends ton tour ou quelque chose dans ce genre. Je ne pense pas que "Frère" soit une façon professionnelle de parler à vos clients. Quoi qu'il en soit,...
THE PHOTOS OF THE FOOD DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE! I was a little weary coming here, based on the photos of the ravioli with the tomato basil cream (TBC). It's not the most appetizing color but oh my goodness...it was so good. The ravioli were cooked to perfection and the TBC tied it all in. It is definitely your mom and pop, hole in the wall deli, and I'm here for that vibe. Everyone who worked there looked like they knew what they were doing and it feels like a family owned joint. A lot of people got the chili and I'm curious to try that next time. I even got a bread roll in my togo order! I can't wait to come back here- it's hard finding quick and delicious, yet authentic, Italian food...
This is an oldie but a goodie. The place is as busy as ever. They don't accept phone orders when it's busy so you'll be stuck waiting in line. Ordered Beef ravioli with meat red sauce red sauce is too salty in my opinion Cheese ravioli with tomato basil cream sauce tomato basil cream sauce is the much better of the two. I would not bother getting the meat sauce for next time. The cheese ravioli was also delicious Meatball sandwich sourdough bread with hearty serving of meat The ravioli came with side salad for ceaser. side salad comes with bacon and ceaser dressing. It is a generous portion of a side salad and fresh.
Ce restaurant incontournable de San Jose est à la fois une épicerie, un restaurant et un marché. Vous pouvez manger sur place, ainsi que acheter des charcuteries et des produits italiens. L'endroit est souvent bondé, mais la nourriture en vaut la peine ! Les raviolis faits maison sont délicieux, et ils proposent de super offres, comme le fettuccine Alfredo que nous avons pris. La sauce crémeuse tomate basilic était incroyable. Je reviendrais volontiers pour en prendre à emporter, je recommande vivement cette jolie trouvaille !
