"Once found we had to return every day. Very friendly and unpretentious. Due to our limited French, the owner/ waitress did various animal noises to help us choose from the menu. All fresh produce, well cooked and plenty. I can't recommend highly enough! See you again ine day."

We had 2 meals at this unpretentious restaurant excellent home made food, big portions, served by the owner herself, a lady who waits on all the tables very quickly and efficiently. Her husband does all the cooking himself. There are only 3 starters and 3 main courses to choose from (hence the 10 euros price tag), but everything we chose was simply delicious. Desserts were superb, in particular the charlotte aux fruits rouges, the best charlotte I have ever eaten. If you like home made French food and do not want to spend a fortune, this is the place to visit! Full of locals, which is always a good sign.

On a cold December lunch time we were welcomed in to this small cozy restaurant with a complimentary 'Kir '. The restaurant was lovely and warm and there was already a lively convivial atmosphere. The menu is very simple. We chose a salad to start, it was beautifully fresh and enormous! After that we chose very tender duck served with chips and finished with a generous serving of ice-cream with homemade butterscotch and cream. After that a tisane and we didn 't need to eat anything else all day!!! Book early for their Christmas special it looks excellent!!

We arrived in the most torrential rain and settled down inside this warm and welcoming space. Ours was the only English voice in this absolutely typical bistro and what fantastic value the 12 Euro lunch menu proved to be. A welcome glass of rose was followed by a carafe with lunch and after pate and seafood pasta we both settled down to guinea fowl in a delicious cream and cider sauce with a huge bowl of chips. We were left the plate of cheese and our jaws dropped at the sight of the huge deserts on offer which would have added another Euro to our bill!

We visited this wonderfully unpretentious restaurant on four occasion. The food is fresh, well cooked and very plentiful. It's full of locals, always a sure sign and at 13 Euros for a 4 course, who can blame them. We tried all the restaurants on our 10 night stay, most are very good, but this one comes out tops. We will miss you.
