This is a friendly, old-style Sevillano grocer turned tapas bar (with another restaurant space next door) that will serve you authentic and varied tapas and bigger dishes if you wish. Meat and cheese platters prepared by the owner, amazing patés, cola de toro, toasts with salmorejo and jamon or anchoas, good wines and sherries. Service is friendly, and this is a genuine Sevillano eating experience favoured by the tapas tours for that reason. Recommended.
My husband and I found this little restaurant and with the help of an excellent waiter (who not only spoke fluent English but also French to a neighbouring table) we tried tapas we had not had before. His recommendations were spot on and the quality of food and wine were fantastic. When we arrived home we found we had been accidentally been charged twice. With the aid of Google translate on email, we were refunded within days. Highly recommended service and food.
