This lovely little family run restaurant based in a funky corner of Dusseldorf is a wonderful culinary experience. The menu is great and combines simple original Italian cuisine with a modern touch. My long time favorites are the Pizza Salami, Spaghetti Al Frutti Di Mare and the Capriciosa salad with delicious pizza bread rolls and home made garlic butter. The interior is stunning and the terrace in the summer is just beautiful. Look out for Gino, the good soul of La Barca.
had a basic quattro stagioni, and it was just as it should be. thin crust and real toppings, and very reasonable price. they can only pay with cash, which I did not notice, in, but the waitress was super friendly and understanding about it....They even offered that I could come back with the payment the next day, but I immediately went to the amme.
I like La Barca's it offers a variety of dishes. I usually go as I live across the road and I usually customize my own pasta. I love their speghetti with white sauce and funghi. Its very saucy and tasty... not the best pasta I had but pretty good. Their aubergine parmigiana is good too!!

Great pizza here. Calzone , is one of my favourites here. Very well priced. Pasta dishes here are also great. If just a bit too much. Over all cheerful and reasonable.
Great pizza and easy going staff. Environment inside is a little "cold", however outside or take away are great options it you want a good pizza or Italian food!
