I found this place by accident one day and I'm so glad I did, my Husband and I love this place and when we take our Daughter (age she loves it too. Hubby usually gets Mussels in a tomato sauce iv tried them...fabulous) The Fillet steaks are always cooked exactly the way we want (Med to rare). Can I say Iv tried Diane sauce many many times and their Diane sauce is absolutely superb (different BUT BETTER) than anywhere. Casa Mia pasta is lovely and creamy, fresh and very filling. My Daughters favourite is macaroni cheese and she absolutely loves the garlic bread with cheese. There are so many lovely dishes on their menu Iv tried most of them) and I can honestly say I have never left disappoint...
Was a bit disappointed by the meal for my daughters birthday. Poor portions and although I ordered steak that was lovely and perfect) and it was extra. All that was served was Steak and chips in basket and what was supposed to be...a Diane sauce was more like mascarpone it was never a Diane sauce. Most places give you mushroom and tomatoes and onion rings it was just steak and sauce on dish big let down. Also the other members in the party had veal all they got was carrot batons and half potatoes and sprouts, I think it was because we were about last to get served they were short and put what little they had on the plate. Sorry did not comment on how little food on the plates at the restaura...
they wanted so much to give these highly recommended restaurant stars, but honestly cannot find enough reasons. the waiters wore half masks, but one had his round kinen when he spoke to us and took our orders. he told us the...before day when the restaurant was packed all Saturday. we are still in the midst of a pandemic with infections that rise again, this is not acceptable. we also found the waiters rather inconsistent, interrupt according to our discussions that announce the incoming food. there was only of us, the restaurant was not full and the orders were not complicated. the food was tasty, but the pizza was tender and difficult to cut. pasta was asked to cook well and definitiw not...
We had a great lunch here but its a bit hard to find if you don't know the Cumbernauld Town Centre. Its located on the top of the building and can be accessed from the upper carpark, or if you use the lower one it...situated above the Wetherspoon's Pub. After we found it everything was great. A warm friendly welcome and shown to a booth. Drinks quickly arrived and our order taken, We asked for the Mussels started to be sized up to a main and this was no trouble. The food was excellent, piping hot and very tasty, the staff were attentive and helpful. Place was quite busy with families, so must be well known. Will be back her very soon.
on Saturday afternoon, glad we booked! the special lunch menu, went for the garlic mushroom starter, were not disappointed. beautifully cooked, served with a beautiful dip and a beautiful Wee side salad. the mains were, as always, exceptional. a burger...with excellent chips, a huge fish chips and a chicken nuggets with fries. all beautifully cooked, immensely portioned and beautifully presented. the most friendly service at all, without being in their face, a bill of less than what more could they want for a great lunch.
I was very impressed by this restaurant. the service was fantastic by all staff, they were great with the children, eating was nice, decent portions and beautiful cozy furnishings. they brought ice and sang happy birthday when they realized that it was my birthday, which was a nice note. it's great to have such a beautiful place in cumbernauld. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I visited with a friend for a Christmas lunch in lieu of a night out and we were not disappointed. The course menu had lots of choice, something to suit everyone. Even though it was a lunch menu the portion sizes were still large....The staff were friendly and at no point were we rushed
