Visiting from Tampa and had the taste for some Haitian cuisine, so my girlfriend recommended this restaurant. When I say good food, I mean gooood food, the portion was well worth, we both had the whole fried fish which was bursting with flavor and that sauce that was on the side along with the pikliz was lip smacking good. Bernadette and her daughters especially Bianca was very sweet and hospitable. Definitely would recommend this restaurant if you enjoy some good ole authentic Haitian cuisine. Don’t forget to grab a pecos/cocoye, it’s like their version of a Italian ice. I had the passion fruit flavor which scored a home run! Visit them if you are ever in the south Florida area!!
Today was my first time there. I asked for a griot plate. The server fixed the plate. Then I asked for stewed turkey and she said “damn, why you ain’t tell me that before!” I apologized and said it was my first time there and I didn’t know there was a certain way to order. She proceeded to have a negative disposition for the rest of our interactions. I thanked her after I received my meals and paid for them and she didn’t say you’re welcome until I was almost at the door. I’m not even sure if that’s what she said. The food was great! The server with the raggedy lashes and bad attitude needs to go.
My first time visiting and I must say customer service was on point! They made us feel welcomed and valued! Most Haitian restaurants aren’t as friendly but this one here was exceptional! Special thanks to the two young ladies that catered to us Bernadette and Michelle(sorry if I misspelled your names )I had a turkey and brought a fried goat for my friend and food was great! It was an absolute pleasure coming here for lunch. We went down to Hard Rock Stadium and on our way home wanted some Haitian food. Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the esthetic was great, the service was top notch, and the food was next level. If you are ever in the area this is the Haitian restaurant that needs to be on your bucket list. Thank you guys for the amazing hospitality and for sending us home like stuffed pigs. Dine in decor is very nice here. Food is usually pretty good, but have not enjoyed the service here. One person made the food, another checked us out and wait time to receive food was still more than 15 min. Also brought a guest that spoke creole and staff didn’t respond in creole but in English instead because he was American, very weird interaction as I witnessed the staff speak to each other in Creole. I hate this place!!! They don't respect American people. They take too long to fix your plate. When I have to drive to the establishment to place my order on a 30 min. Lunch break!!!! Thus they need to take orders over the phone...I swea, never again!!! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
