The food was good. My husband and I ordered a cowboy for two and our 16 years old son ordered a Kansas. When the food came, we did noticed my son’s dish had four shrimps at the top of the steak, we switched our order with our son, since he is allergic to shell fish. When we paid the bill, it showed that a Kansas for two was ordered for my son. My son said he only ordered the Kansas. We asked the waitress, she said she asked our son if he wanted a Kansas for two, she said my son said ok. We took her words and paid the bill, since the Kansas we had did have four shrimps. But when I was back to the hotel and thought about it again. I don’t understand why she asked our 16 years old son if he him...
Truly amazing experience. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Everything was incredibly good. Service was more than excellent. The place is cozy and not too loud. Would recommend it if you want to treat yourself with the best steak house experience in the city. I've been in a lot of steak houses in America, and I can confidently say this was the best meal I had so far.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available
Ordered cowboy steak table d’hôte. The appetizer and soup were super. Steak had good flavor. However, the doneness was not consistent. I ordered medium rare but what came out was: edge parts were well done and the inner parts were rare.Portion was big and I packed the rare leftover steaks home. The saving grace was that I microwaved the rare leftover the next morning and they tasted great :
Absolutely horrible. My $600 bill resulted in me going home hungry. My steak was way over cooked. My fries were horrible. Extremely overpriced and we had to wait 2 hours for the food. I have no idea how this restaurant has so many reviews. What a horrible overpriced experience and I’m going home hungry after a $600 bill. La Bete restaurant in Quebec City is one if the finest steakhouse. The service is excellent. The menu selection of fine quality steaks along with the extras is the specialty. The atmosphere feels exclusive and intimate dining at the same time. The quality of the tables and booth seatings feel expensive. The bar serves the best cocktails and liquors.
We were here early May with 4 colleagues from Can, US and NL. Took a little time to physically find the place since it’s a bit “hidden” in a tall building.Very friendly personnel, very good selection of various beef, and and a great selection of (red) wines. This was the best place we’ve been to during our business trip!
