La Bodega is run by the super-friendly Jose, who manages to make all his guests feel like old friends; welcome and valued, whilst providing excellent and attentive service. His wine and tapas are slightly more expensive than some other places along the beach, but the quality of both is equal to the price point. The venue is excellent, on a raised square back from the main strip, with a good view of the blue sea beyond, and with the addition of the Brazilian music he plays, the atmosphere is relaxed, joyfu,l and happy. A great place to go for cocktails/drinks/ food with a large sunny outside terrace and a fab sea view…reasonable prices compared to some of the nicer sea front bars in Mojacar…a very nice bottle of vino blanco Verdejo just €8 José is from Brazil, he is attentive, charming and very cute….he speaks a little bit of English Spanish as well as portugese….the music is great…and there is a bit of a party vibe going on…well worth a visit….
Josef da la más cálida bienvenida. Tomamos caiprinhas, ¿por qué no lo hiciste? Este es un gran lugar con terraza soleada y sombra si lo necesita. Después de haber comido en Marcelos de al lado, esta es una manera perfecta de configurarte! Gracias volveremos en unas semanas cuando volvamos a Mojácar.
This is a fantastic place to go. Lovely food and drink. I am sure will accommodate any family but was great for us and our late teenage kids The host so welcoming, bringing the essence of Brazil to Spain. No problems understanding my northern English Great place, if in the area worth a visit

Went down to Mojacar for three nights and hoped into this Bar for a few Drinks. The Host Jose is such a lovely guy and makes you very welcome, smiling all the time and the background Music's Fantastic. We will be back in May and will certainly pop in again, Cheers

A lovely friendly bar with a fab sea view! Great international music! Good prices and very good fun. We go to lots of bars in the area and really pleased we just discovered this winner!!
The food was wonderful, especially the chicken wings, be careful with how much you order. The server was also very friendly and kind.
