La Botana is one of my favorite local Mexican food restaurants. I enjoy the bit of heat in the green chili. Not too spicy, just right. And consistently good. My favorite dish is the crispy chili rellenos. Actually, in full disclosure that is the only dish I have tried. I just really like chili rellenos! Other friends and family members have ordered their burritos and other dishes and have enjoyed all of them. The margaritas are good as well. The staff is friendly and will answer questions about the menu for those unfamiliar with some of the dishes. The restaurant itself is clean. This is a good option if you are craving Mexican food in the north Denver area.

Welcoming environment- When we arrived there was an employee on break, he kindly greeted us as we walked in. Then as soon as we got in, we were acknowledged and able to sit down. Loved the decor inside and you can see the staff takes pride in this establishment and keeps it very clean. We got our food and drinks and were checked on throughout our meal. Empty glasses offered to be refilled right away. Food came hot and fresh and was delicious. I would recommend to friends and family and will happily come back in.
we have often eaten in la botana, it is not far from our house. we had both carne asada. it was very, very good. it was a past because of the pandemic since we were there. in the anticipation of our visit, I looked at the reviews. good! there were several negative reviews. that surprised me and honestly, there was a little understanding of our visit. but our visit was great. the server was pleasant, but not overwhelming eating, as I mentioned above was very, very good. Amazing staff and food!! Everyone is so friendly and patient with my 2 yr old son. They spoke to him and acknowledged his presence instead of talking over/past him like a lot of people tend to do. Even better as he is half Mexican they spoke to him in Spanish helping him practice in social environments. The food is incredible! I absolutely love the authenticity that plays true to the roots of a quality Mexican meal. That's what makes each dish special!
The restaurant was clean and food was delicious. I have to point out the Miguel was absolutely amazing. He got me seated right away with no wait got whatever I ask for immediately with extremely fast accuracy. I never in my life had service this good. I will be coming back on a regular and extremely recommend coming here. This place is absolutely amazing if I could give it more stars I would. 1000/1000
The Staff Were Amazing And Friendly, The Food Drinks Were Delicious. They Were Able To Accommodate For 20 Ppl Walking In With No Reservation Which We Greatly Appreciated! We Had Tried Another Restaurant Prior To This And It Just Didn't Have The Things We Wanted Especially Because It Was My Mom's Birthday! So Shout Out To La Botana For Making My Mom's Day Special!!
