Booked here via email phone didn’t seem to work) because of the reviews and it was great. It’s small, bistro like with a very friendly atmosphere. Brought 2 bottles of own wine. 3 out of 4 drinking so charged corkage £7.50 total) for 3. This was fantastic value. The food was excellent and very filling could not manage a dessert. There is also outside seating which would be good as long as it doesn’t rain. Would definitely return if in Lincoln again.
Just brilliant, warm welcome and superb food . As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed and within moments seated and given 5 star service. The team are so friendly and accommodating and it just has the best atmosphere. . service attentive without being intrusive. The food was brilliant . I cannot rate more highly . Little independent with the personal touch. Please support places like this .
We had a night in Lincoln with friends for my wife's birthday and I did some research in where to eat. The ratings this venue gets made me look and decide to book, we weren't dissapointed. They are only licensed until 7pm so the bill was kept well down by bring your own wine for a small corkage fee. The welcome, service and food were excellent and I would not hesitate to return o recommend.
Found this small cafe by chance one lunch time, was so impressed with the quality of the food and service, returned the next week in the evening dont under estimate it as a cafe/bistro it is up there with the best Italian restaurants i have visited Réservez une table maintenant
Amazing restaurant we booked last minute we were visiting Lincoln as we were on the way to Mablethorpe but the floods halted us overnight it wasn't our first time here but the food and service is absolutely top drawer.
Best breakfast sandwich ever. Egg, Swiss, tomato, lemon-dill mayo on challah bun - all toasted in the panini maker! Also, super friendly staff and chill vibe.
I'm giving Hive 5 stars because they are a great addition to the neighborhood and have the most delicious coffee, americanos and dirty chais.
