Itzultzeko moduan zalantza barikENGLISH VERSION: We are from the Txingudi area and frequently go to Baiona normally to the Old Town or to the area beside the river Errobi (Nive). Today we have gone to Little Baiona (Baiona ttipia) and have had lunch to the Bottega.Delicious. What a surprise! What a GOOD surprise. Fresh ingredients plenty of flavour and Italian. Tasty food: Pasta and sauces, pizza also and, to conclude, desserts delicious also (try il dolce dell pastore). We have left with the feeling of eating natural products.I have only taste similar food in the South of Italy. The place is as small as the welcome is warm. Good value!Go and enjoy. A place to come back for sure

So extremely helpful for us non-french speaking novices, the chef both translating the menu and him and the owner going that extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our meal to the full.The food was very tasty, we particularly enjoyed the Bayonne Ham with a very generous serving of French Cheese as a shared starter, my husband then tucked in to a scummy meat pizza, which was light, fresh and appetizing and I ate a deliciously rich and sumptuous Lasagne, a shared Lemon cheesecake-like dessert and we were full to the brim. reasonably priced food albeit a little expensive for the wine but pretty perfect all in all. Great charming little Italian

We had a wonderful meal here last night. Mario's food is sensational. On the menu was home made Mozzarella, Rigatoni, Spaghetti with prawns, Risotto…... This is the best pasta and pizza we have had in a very long time. We were made to feel very welcome, the service is personal and attentive. Marialen (hope I have spelt it correctly) ran through the whole menu and daily specials in English for us. Well done & thank you! We hope this lovely husband and wife team continue to be a success and we will be visiting again in the next few days before we head back to Toulouse. If you are in the area make sure you eat here!!!

We arrived a little to early but have been welcomed warmly with our little dog. We shared our food as follows : burrata di buffala, pizza sarda & gnocchis...What a meal!It was vild and tasty, seasoned just what is required, the pizza dough was well cooked and topo with a beautiful sausage with fennel, the gnocchis were maybe, maybe a little over cooked but the entire meal was absolutely fantastic. Yes the place is small and yes you need ro book but it's an absolutely must go.

Once again the food we had was magnificent. Additionally, as we went on a working day we had a very reasonable menu. Berriro, bazkaria zoragarria zen. Gainera, lan egun batean egon ginenez, menu bat zegoent oso prezio on batekin
