La boucherie - Réserver une table

Le service était parfaitement agréable, rien de spécial. Le vin était plutôt bon et pas trop cher (nous avons pris les vins blanc et rouge de la maison en carafes). L'ambiance était également plutôt agréable. Le menu ressemblait à une carte plastifiée typique d'un steakhouse ou d'un burger avec des photos. Mais... ils proposaient des coupes de viande inhabituelles, l'une d'entre elles s'appelait quelque chose comme un steak plume, c'est celui que j'ai choisi. Waouh! le morceau de viande le plus savoureux que j'ai jamais mangé! Une viande étrangement formée, mais la saveur était exceptionnelle. Mon partenaire a pris un steak plus traditionnel, parfaitement cuit comme il l'avait demandé rosé mais pas ****, avec une excellente saveur et une texture fondante. De plus, les frites étaient faites avec de vraies pommes de terre, servies chaudes et croustillantes. L'addition était extrêmement raisonnable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour les carnivores.

Service was perfectly pleasant, nothing special. Wine was quite nice and not too pricey (we had the house white and red in carafes.) Ambience was, well, also quite pleasant. Menu looked like a typical steak or burger joint - plastic menu card with photos. But they were offering some unusual cuts of steak, one was called something like a feather steak, which is what I had. Wow! the most meaty flavoured piece of steak I think I have ever had! Very odd looking, bitty shaped meat, but the flavour was exceptional. My partner had a more traditional steak, which was cooked to perfection - he asked for pink but not **** - which is what he got, with a great flavour and melting texture. Added to which, the chips were real potatoes, served hot and crispy. The bill was extremely reasonable. A definite recommend for carnivores.

Slow service. Meat tasty. Worth the money. Be warned, the gourmand pudding is massive! !! Usually a selection of several small puddings but this is a selection of surprisingly large puddings. Thank heavens my husband had some. we'll be back.

It may look a little cheesy from outside, but the food is excellent. Best beef stew in town. Excellent no-frills service and a good wine list. Unusually for a steak restaurant the entree (starters in Australian) were diverse and delicious!

Went here with my wife and some freinds and had such good service, wonderfull steak, cooked as asked, goood wine, have been here a few times now and everytime is very good and well worth a visit.
