We stayed at the Ibis Bron and, due to its restaurant being closed at the weekend, we were directed to this restaurant as the only one open at 9pm on a Saturday evening within close proximity. We anticipated a problem as soon as we saw...the name of the restaurant but we hoped that there would still be a decent choice of fish and dairy for non meat eaters such as ourselves. We searched hard through two menus and eventually found 2 dishes out of approximately 50 meat dishes. One was for white fish and potatoes and the other was for mushroom risotto. We are partial to a nice risotto so looked forward to it. We were greatly disappointed to receive a small cereal bowl each containing the risotto...
We stayed at a hotel in the same road and needed somewhere to eat within walking (or staggering) distance of our hotel; all the chain hotels are there Kyriad, Ibis, Campanile etc. The staff were excellent, friendly and casual. We ordered the entrecote special...which, for us, was undercooked but the waiter was perfectly happy to put it back on the grill, no condescending attitude so often displayed by French waiters. They even renewed the chips! The restaurant, along with the hotels, is near the Lyon exhibition centre, so can be really busy. Book a table if there is an event going on. Would eat here again.
Ma femme et moi sommes allés dans ce restaurant près de notre hôtel. Il est un peu éloigné du centre de Lyon, mais si vous êtes près de l'aéroport, cela vaut la peine d'y aller. Un lieu pour les amateurs de viande. Très bon choix. De la viande au menu. Les prix ne sont pas mauvais. Le service était rapide et amical. L'atmosphère s'est réchauffée en soirée. Nous avons pris un steak et une entrecôte. Les deux étaient délicieux et la soupe de courge était excellente pour commencer. Dans l'ensemble, un petit bijou dans un endroit assez isolé !
Quel défi, un allemand a dû décider où aller dîner avec des clients français. pour être plus précis, 1x français, 1x espagnol et 1x anglais. La Boucherie était mon choix car tout le monde pouvait s'y rendre facilement mais aussi grâce aux commentaires ici... Pour faire court, nous avons passé une excellente soirée, la cuisine était au top, bon vin merci pour la bouteille de magnum... service parfait et de bonnes discussions avec le manager et son équipe... Nous reviendrons bien sûr.
Passing throug Lyon, we stumbled upon this roadside-gem. It may not look like much else than an ordinary stakehouse from the road, but wow! Superfriendly staff, very nice atmosphere and very fast service. But most importantly, probably the best burger I have ever had! Would...have added a picture of the burger, but I was too busy eating! A shame that we have to move on tomorrow, as I would love to go back!
Bon restaurant pour un déjeuner ou dîner décontracté. J'ai pris un faux-filet, il était cuit à point, les frites qui l'accompagnaient étaient correctes. Une petite carafe de vin rouge des Côtes du Rhône était assez buvable. La maison offrait un digestif qui, dans mon cas, était un assez bon marc de Bourgogne.
