This is a busy place so reserve. Menu pretty similar to the other restaurants but everything we had was really well prepared and tasted great. The ubiquitous selection of local ham was enhanced by the house pate which was delicious. I do think that all the restaurants here are missing a trick in their starters. They are so large that you never really need one each. Make them a tad smaller and a couple of Euros less and I reckon they would sell a lot more. Plus add a couple of fish starters. I know you are long way from the sea but we have seen smoked salmon, prawns and local freshwater fish on a couple of menus in another local resort. Habituellement, il y a un plat du jour à environ 12 euros, ainsi que des sélections du menu à un prix similaire. Hors saison, c'est le dernier restaurant à fermer à Le Chinaillon mais il n'est pas ouvert le soir - fermé le 26 septembre cette année.
Voici un restaurant charmant. L'hôte fait de son mieux pour plaire, même lorsqu'il est complet. La nourriture et le vin étaient bons, et le service rapide et amical. Réserver à l'avance, de préférence deux jours à l'avance, pour plus de deux personnes est absolument essentiel pendant les périodes chargées...comme les vacances scolaires. Le restaurant n'est pas très grand, peut-être 36 places.
Great Restaurant. Very nice and warm service. People are very friendly and funny the menu is great and very delicious. If you want to have a nice good meal, which comes from this specific region then you are at the right place :-)Super Restaurant. Das Person ist sehr freundlich und lustig. Good value restaurant with a warm welcome from Davide. The food is simple but well cooked and a recommended place for a spot of lunch. Usually a dish of the day at around 12 euros as well as selections from the menu at a similar price.Out of season it is the last restaurant that closes in Le Chinaillon but not open on a nighttime- closed 26 September this year.
This is a charming restaurant. The host does his best to please, even when fully booked. Food and wine was good and service prompt and friendly. Booking in advance by two or more days for more than two persons is absolutely essential in busy periods such as half term. The restaurant is not large - maybe 36 places.
We love La Bouillotte. We always get a warm and friendly welcome at this charming restaurant. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is laid back and David has great taste in music ! Already looking forward to our next visit.
Great relaxed atmosphere and the most delicious and beautifully presented food. €140 for a family of four with nice wine was pretty good value too.

I was in Woodville for a funeral and needed to eat an early dinner before the long drive home since we missed lunch.
