While the service we had from our waitress was exceptional the food was less then impressive and the timing of all our meals in our group of 5 was different, my girl friend was almost done her pasta when I got my veal dish. 2 entrees came together then 5 minutes later another 2 and then another 5 minutes and mine order showed up I am still baffled at what exactly they served me for veal. it was a beaten up small soggy breaded little piece, the side pasta a small amount of greasy plain spaghetti, the veggies were actually cooked to perfection but I didn't go for the broccoli. We had 6 people for a reservation for a birthday. No acknowledgement was ever made of the birthday nor any offer of a dessert for the birthday person. A complimentary dessert is the least that could have been done for my guests special day. I had advised the restaurant of the birthday when I made the reservation also mentioned it when we sat down. The server was impatient obviously waiting too many tables. It was a long time to get the food the prices for what we received was outrageous. $20 for about 10 pieces of rubbery calamari. First time to this incredible restaurant. It is small and quaint, but we were a group of 6 and had a private little corner of the restaurant. Everything we ordered, from appetizers to main course was absolutely delicious! The Calamari and Bruschetta was to die for!! For the main, I ordered the Linguini Mediterranean which had jumbo prawns in a garlic rose sauce that was incredible. Everyone in our group enjoyed their respective meals and we would definitely recommend this gem to others. A nice cozy place for a special occasion or little treat! Great service..that went above and beyond to share their experiences with us.
This restaurant has been re-vitalized under new management with the help of a northern Italian chef. The menu has been totally re-drawn with a flavourful mix of appetizers, pastas and secondi. The menu is well balanced, offering good choices for every palate. The portion sizes and prices are just right. This is not your typical North American ristorante full of large, heavy, garlic and cheese monstrocities. It features cherry tomato sauces and multiple offerings of imported buratta. The meatball and calamari appetizers are amazing. Don't pick between them, order both! We did and loved them.

The venue could do with a little uplift. I am all for traditional Italians but this felt like someone’s front room in their house. Many items on the menu were unavailable with the reasoning being saturday was busy (we visited on a Sunday). The wine menu for an Italian restaurant was shocking, barley any Italian wines and those they did have are not of good quality. Calamari was doused in red sauce it shouldn’t need a sauce all over it for it to be tasty. Pasta was not cooked Al dente and we found the sauce bland. Mains took a while to come also. Would not recommend. It’s not an Italian.
It’s not a very big place, but warm and welcoming. After exploring a bit in Alberta, (Drumheller-worth the drive) I wanted a good meal. I found it here. The food was delicious. I had veal piccata pasta with alfredo sauce. I was too full for dessert. If you find yourself looking for a good restaurant in Calgary, give them a call to reserve your place. I doubt you’ll be disappointed. Filomena is fabulous!
We had an excellent meal on the patio which is a must if the weather is cooperative. It is the main restaurant in Bridgeland with south exposure so perfect for summer evenings. Service is always very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent, We have now tried over 5 entrees and they are all excellent. Good wine selection and atmosphere. highly recommended.
We engaged La Brezza to help plan our 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner. They were so welcoming helpful and thoughtful in arranging our special event. The food was delicious and the portions more than ample. Thank you La Brezza for helping to make this event memorable.

It’s just okay. The chicken was good but the pasta was undercooked. Ordered an appetizer and never got it. Definitely not worth 4 or 5 stars! The service is SLOW. It’s like a house, couldn’t figure out how to get in. Needs a remodel.
This restaurant has stood the test of time. It has been years since I visited and I was still very impressed. The calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had. We will be back again just for it. Service was also fantastic!
