Definitivamente no volveremos…. We went for lunch on a Monday at 2 in the afternoon, because we had seen that the place had a queue to enter and seemed busy on previous days that we have been in the area. The place is a typical restaurant/bar, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered something as simple as a dish that had a chorizo, a black pudding, fries and a fried egg. The chorizo and black pudding, although tasty, were cold as from a refrigerator. The fries were so so, nor crispy nor soft. The other dish was a combination of fried seafood, anchovies, squid and small octopus. A hearty dish, but it was completely moist, not crispy at all. The octopus and squid were inedible, like chewing gum. We definitely won't be back...

Restaurante La Butibamba is a classic restaurante steeped in history, but working on a simple premise; good food, good portions, reasonable prices. At certain times (like Sunday lunch) you will be hard pushed to find a seat amongst the bustling tables and various waiters hopping around trying to serve everyone, however, their strong menu of many classics, and particularly the slow cooked pork tacos (large chunks of pork loin, marinated and cooked for hours, that just melt in your mouth) are amazing and sure to please everyone. Only 200m from the beach and adjacent to a lovely tree covered park, this is not to be missed for a full and satisfied stomache...!

Excellent meat and sea food. If you re looking for tasty, cheap and a looot of food it s the perfect place. The decoration is an old one but it doesn t bother you at all because all that s important in the end is the food you eat. Don t hesitate!
