Zero effort was put in by staff to mitigate the huge fly problem they have at the restaurant. Very expensive food that did not reflect the experience given to the customer which was disappointing. The salmon and tuna was nice but tasted pretty average and nothing out of the ordinary. We were visibly uncomfortable with the infestation of flies that surrounded us when the food came out and spent most of our meal swatting away the flies with our arms with no acknowledgement by the waiting staff. We mentioned the issue by the end of the meal and they just agreed it was a problem and left it at that. Wouldn’t come here again
The restaurant was recommended by the hotel and sadly was a big disappointment. Upon arrival it appeared that we were just one group too many, not a warm welcome but we decided to stick it out due to the recommendation. In summary the only dish served that could be categorised as acceptable was the Seabass, whilst this dish was very good it was not the advertised 450gms in weight. The other two dishes were a joke, cold and tasteless chicken that was unflavoured, cold and tough entrecôte steak, cold potatoes, cold French fries and cold vegetables. We paid our bill and did not hang around, what a waste of money.
We ended up dining here twice when we stayed at the Grand Hyatt. Restaurant is about 10 minutes drive from the hotel. We arranged transport from the hotel, which is just as well as road to restaurant was very steep and felt a bit dangerous. This is an open air (covered) restaurant with fantastic views directly over the sea at La Cala beach. Food was absolutely fantastic. Great range of food, and a decent kid’s menu too. One of the best restaurants we have been to frankly. Would definitely recommend if you are in La Manga.
Un 10 tanto por la comida como por la atención y los precios comimos un poco de todo y finalizamos con una paella y seguramente de lo mejor de la manga tanto en calidad como atencion
