La Calade - Réservation de table

This is a real find, a bit off the beaten track but well worth the trip. La Calade restaurant is in the centre of the village of Blauvac with tremendous views across the valley. Limited parking in the village but spaces on the side of the road leading up to the church. Very friendly staff and beautifully cooked food. Had the set lunchtime menu of tomato salad, lamb shoulder steak and strawberries, reasonably priced. Sat on the terrace and enjoyed a leisurely lunch while soaking up the views. The restaurant cat is very sociable, called Buster after Buster Keaton because he never smiles.

You'll probably drive to get here but it's a worthwhile journey through great scenery, finally climbing the hill into the little square where La Calade is situated.You'll be rewarded with the most spectacular Panoramic views from the restaurant and the most delightful food, all cooked superbly using the freshest in-season ingredients. My last visit I enjoyed superb braised shin of beef with a sauce which I'd travel a decent way to taste again.Service was warm and friendly and enhanced the evening tremendously.Can't wait to return.

A very small restaurant in a very small town. We were staying in a villa nearby and thought a short drive to dinner would be nice. Maybe having 8 diners was just too much for them to handle. Of the four steak dinners, none could be finished. One dinner sent his back for more cooking twice and none of the diners could finish their meat. It was tough and fatty. The highlight was fresh strawberries and cream for dessert. But who can mess that up. Prices were reasonable.

Bel emplacement, en tant que cyclistes nous voulions prendre un verre en terrasse juste avant le déjeuner, il n'y avait pas encore de monde pour déjeuner. L'accueil de l'hôtesse n'était pas vraiment cordial. Puis nous nous sommes fait réprimander parce que j'aurais sali les vitres en lisant le menu. Non, nous ne venons pas ici pour manger même si la vue est superbe et que ça sentait bon à l'extérieur de la cuisine. Réservez une table maintenant

Closed for a while due to illness of the Chef, its back a delightful small restaurant in a stunning spot overlooking the valley towards Venasque and Avignon in the far distance. The food on the prix fixe Euro39 menu's a stunning bargain, combined with great local only wine selection and attentive service its a real winner.

Cela vaut le détour pour la vue depuis ce petit restaurant perché sur une colline dans le minuscule village de Blauvac - serveurs amicaux et multilingues - menu simple mais bon ( l'un de nous a essayé le steak qui était délicieux, contrairement au commentaire ci-dessous!). Nous avons réservé début août et c'était complet.

Visited this smart restaurant recently for dinner. It's perched right on top of a hill in a little village with fantastic views all round. The food was very nice and the staff were friendly. Not too expensive either. Would recommend!

This restaurant was advised by the owner of our B&B in Mormoiron. And he was right! Superb view from the restaurant in Blauvac. And the food is the same: well prepared, superb taste and friendly service! Top price-quality! Réservez une table maintenant
