this restaurant has a raised atmosphere and prices to fit. Unfortunately, eating did not even reach such a standard. my wife, a grown-up daughter, and I went to lunch. our daughter and I shared an appetizer consisting mainly of tomato, with meerrot tuna bells and a broken olive and arugula. the dressing seemed to be warabi/horseradish-based. it was quite charming, although at 16€ I think they had made more than 4 thin discs tuna and the much heavy quantity arugula available. our only starter was the high point. the main dishes were the very low point. my wife had grilled oktopus, who was too busy with a dark Romesco sauce, sobrassada and a pure flower cabbage that had lost every taste of flo...
Visited la Calendula last night and was not disappointed. Staff were very welcoming and menu is small but covers meat fish and vegetarian options. The salad with leeks was excellent from the starter section, and the local grilled fish from the main course was perfectly...cooked. The vegetarian option of mushrooms was both beautifully presented and very tasty. Desert menu is also varied with the ice cream and chilli chocolate sauce outstanding Wine list is large enough with plenty of choice at reasonable (for restaurant) prices, with good coverage of local wines An exceptional restaurant worth visiting, service standards more than match the quality of the food
