When it comes to food, there’s a wide variety to choose from: tequeños, arepas, empanadas, cachapas, pabellón, patacones, and more! However, I have to admit that the tequeños were a bit disappointing. The cheese didn’t seem right and almost melted into the dough. On the other hand, the arepas and cachapas were delicious. I felt like I got a taste of home, although not completely authentic.
I really wish they offered mandocas as well. The vegan arepa was incredible—the black beans were the best I've ever had, and the addition of sweet plantains was simply amazing. I was very happy that my family found this lovely place to eat! I thought the food was really good and the service was great! We started with empanadas and tostones rellenos as appetizers. I was happy with both except for the chicken ones as they seemed to be dry. I would like to give 5 stars, but their food is VERY expensive. I can usually make an arepa filled with black beans, platanos, and cojita cheese for like $2. So the upcharge is massive. Ultimately, I would probably come back because the food was good. But I will not go with a group of people!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to get into the restaurant, and most tables are at wheelchair height.
At La Calle Arepas, the food was nicely presented but fell short on flavor. Additionally, the tip was automatically added to the bill even though our party was just three people. Overall, I would rate the food 3 out of 5. The menu has potential but could use some improvements.
The Venezuelan food here is fantastic, and the service is lovely. The sauces are outstanding! However, they could benefit from offering more vegetarian options. You'll truly feel like you're in Venezuela with offerings like Polar beer, chicha, and more.

La calle makes the best patacon I have tasted. We ordered the Carne asada and it was amazingly tasty with the grilled melty cheese and the Anquan plantains for buns. The arepas were also tasty and generously portioned. We will be coming back.
This is a nice restaurant, but it can get a bit busy. The food is delicious, but the wait can be a bit lengthy. One of the waitresses could improve her communication skills with customers. Overall, it's not a bad experience.
This place is excellent! the food is incredible, staff is super friendly and just great vibes. I drive from danbury to get their arepas and garlic shrimp lol highly recommend! Thanks la Calle!
Best place in area, I’m in love with their CACHAPAS? excellent food, drinks and food! Definitely the best Venezuelan food I have ever had! ?? and of course the waiter is the best, so kind.
