I enjoyed the taco salad with carnitas, opting for no beans or tortilla strips due to my keto diet, and it was quite tasty. I appreciated the fresh spring lettuce mix, and the dressing was enjoyable as well. However, I would have liked a bit more lettuce, especially since I was skipping the beans and tortillas. Ordered online once and it will be my last time eating here. The elote came brown with no sauce/seasonings on it. The corn was literally brown and tasted spoiled. The tortillas for the tacos were incredibly flimsy and hard to hold, and the contents kept falling out. I know street tacos are messy, but these were not the high quality design. The lettuce on the inside was mostly large pieces of cabbage stem and nothing else. The chips also came over cooked, and the house salsa is mediocre. The taqueria on sutter street has by far higher quality food with comparable prices. My boyfriend is also wondering why there is pineapple and radish on a carne asada/al pastor/ carnitas taco.
The food here is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. The owner is very accommodating; we were allowed to bring our e-bikes onto the patio and park them next to our table. They also welcome dogs on the patio and will provide water for them upon request. I highly recommend trying the carnitas chimichanga—it’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted. There's a fully staffed bar at the front of the restaurant, which feels a bit dark and out of place, but the rest of the dining area is bright and cheerful.
The food here is truly delicious and fresh. However, they seem a bit stingy with the chips, and during our last few visits, the music has been too loud for easy conversation. The man working there takes on the roles of server, bartender, and busser, but he isn't very friendly. I'd give the food five stars, while everything else would get around 3.5 to 4 stars.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and my vegetarian burrito was enormous—I ended up taking half of it home. They are now open for lunch, and their happy hour specials are a great deal. You really can't go wrong! It's located in the same plaza as Pete's and Julian's.

The Burrito Bowl is quite small and not really worth the price. However, the Birria Taco was excellent. The kids' carne asada street tacos were also good, but I wouldn't recommend the Mexican rice again—it was very bland. The main drawback of this restaurant is that it's overpriced.
