I always make La Canada Restaurant a must any time I travel to Spain. Either on my way in or before I come back to the States. I visited La Canada in January, this time I had their famous Cocido Madrileno (Garbanzo beans, soup and chicken stew, they have some pictures of it in their profile)They slow cook it for ours with the chicken in the pot to get all the flavor. Definitely enough to survive the whole cold season. This past winter, although mild in temperatures, was cold enough to make me crave their Cocido.
