I came to this place I just randomly found it didn?t know they had one in this area. I?ve only been to the one in Huntington. But the service from Huntington and here are night and day. I sat at the bar thinking I was gonna get prompt bar service(drinks). Which I only chose beer, and I must say their beers are very cold on top of it all they serve it to you in a coldglass mug. But there was a temporary bartender. And my server kept disappearing every time I wanted another beer. Servers wouldpass by me stare at my empty glass and just keep walking. Let me tell everyone skeptical about trying this place out: This of one of the best restaurants I’ve had takeout from.The food tastes like something out of grandma’s kitchen, I am absolutely humbled by the quality of food. I would give this restaurant more stars if I could.After a long day of work, it was to my surprise that my family had ordered takeout, especially Peruvian food.We normally venture into Queens to get a taste of another part of the world, but let me tell you, 15 min from home this restaurant really hits it home.Genuinely would recommend anyone, friends, family, anyone to eat here or get takeout from here.Super happy I got to end my night on this note. Great atmosphere, great food. Wonderful service. EDIT: After careful consideration I went over the taste and quality of the food as well as the service and realized I was wrong. This place was simply incredible! The service was over the top attentiveand understanding. The food was fresh, grilled outdoors and the kitchen items was prepared to order. The flavors wereoutstanding! La Candella II really is a great place! The original place is in Hicksville which I now think deserves a visit aswell!
The ambiance is delightful, and the service is exceptional. However, I had a couple of issues: the wait for our food was longer than expected, and the amount of shredded steak in my dish was lacking. For $28, I anticipated a more generous portion. My wife tried the fish and thoroughly enjoyed it, though. On a positive note, there's parking available in the back.
The atmosphere at this place is amazing. The customer service is extraordinary. The food is exquisite and definitely Peruvian style. I cannot forget to mention how great their natural juices are. I had to order 2! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family specially because its kid friendly. I have kids and I love to take them places.
The festivities begin at 9 PM on Friday. The plates are overflowing with hearty and satisfying meals. The plantains are delightfully sweet, and the soup is wonderfully filling. Just a note: the frozen margaritas don't have the typical slushie texture. Overall, I would give the food a 4 out of 5.

One of my favorites! Their food is ALWAYS fresh. ALWAYS! And it’s beyond delicious— my family and I love ordering them this restaurant. And their staff is incredibly generous and nice. Would recommend this spot any time??
