La Cantine De Tom

La Cantine de Tom was the first restaurant my partner and I visited during our stay in Les Deux Alpes, and we were pleasantly surprised! We both ordered the tartiflette - huge serving size but delicious! Perhaps share one between two, if you don't have a big appetite. The tartiflette was accompanied by a light salad and some bread. We paired it with some dry white wine which worked really well. The fire was started midway through the afternoon, which added to the atmosphere. Overall, a good restaurant with delicious, traditional Savoyarde food at reasonable prices!

Although the owner was a little cold at first, after we spoke the little French we knew to her she was a bit nicer. This place has great food for lunch and dinner at really cheap prices, great for a casual meal out and the first nice coffee since we arrived in Les Deux Alps! There is a really nice fire and ski sports is always playing on the television. It has such a friendly atmosphere and with the incredible food and prices we are coming back.

We went to the cantine de tom for light nibbles and some wine. The quality of the sharing platter was good with a nice selection of wine.We had the chateau Malbec which was nice and complimented the food. The food being served around us was of high quality and if we would have had more time we would have gone back.The prices of the food and drink were very reasonable compared to other places in the area.

Très bon restaurant. Petit bémol pour le temps d’attente entre l’entrée dans le restaurant et l’arrivée des plats : près d’une heure d’attente alors qu’il était plus de 14h! Les plats ont très largement compensé ce temps d’attente! Tout le monde s’est régalé !

Very nice, new spotWith cosy fire place, huge cups of coffee served in an original way and good food! Just go once.
