La Capanna Pizzeria

I loved la Capanna since I was a kid. The food, service and place was amazing when Gino ran it. But last week the pizza dough was raw in the middle and the pasta was tasteless and undercooked. Gino's no longer there and everything has fallen by the wayside. It's such a shame as it was a Canberra institution. Now it's just another run of the mill italian joint.

Good Pizzas a good experience. I have visited La Capanna many times and have never had a bad meal. As we normally order pizza with salad we don't expect fine dining but always leave feeling satisfied.<br/ <br/ Gino and his staff make you feel very welcome.

brilliant. pino, the owner, leads this brilliant little pizzeria with his wife the antipasto boards are super amd the pizza they will come for more other options are on the menu big eating and atmosphere. will soon be a Canberra symbol

Beautiful little Italian restaurant. Missing risotto from the menu but asides from that the meals were very high quality. The breads could be better. Service was excellent. I rate this restaurant 9/10.

My family has been eating here for years.Best pizza .Better than Italy .We love the staff especially Gino.Brilliant food!
